About this role
Role Overview
- Work closely with pharma and clinical stakeholders to understand analytical requirements
- Build and maintain scalable analytics solutions using Python/R, SQL, and Databricks
- Analyse and interpret complex clinical trial and pharma datasets
- Integrate and leverage clinical data sources such as DQS and Citeline
- Deliver insights that support evidence based decision making across clinical and business teams
- Support best practices in data quality, governance, and reproducibility
- Act as a trusted analytics partner within multi-disciplinary client teams.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or R (essential)
- Advanced SQL skills with experience querying and transforming complex datasets
- Proven experience working with Databricks in production analytics environments
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with large, complex data sets
- Experience communicating insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Hands-on experience within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally supporting clinical trials, trial design and biostatistics
- Strong understanding of clinical trial data sources, such as DQS, Citeline, or similar platforms
- Experience working with Azure based data and analytics solutions
- Familiarity with regulated data environments and high data quality standards
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
- Ability to balance technical delivery with business and domain context
- Confident communicator, able to explain complex analytical outputs in a clear and compelling way
- Collaborative and consultative approach to problem solving.
