Perform a variety of electrical engineering design and construction support functions
Survey/assess existing facility, scoping and estimating level of engineering effort
Field work to assess existing conditions; report writing; conceptual design; design development of drawings, specifications, and calculation analyses; and assistance with cost estimating
Dispositioning NCRs, performing assessments on existing design, responding to RFIs, issuing Design Change Notices (DCNs)
Coordination with Quality on inspections
Supporting development of Scopes of work for electrical subcontracts
Services during bidding and construction, including answering requests for information, bid review, shop drawing review, site visits during construction, commissioning support, hosting progress meetings, and project closeout
Requirements
BS-Electrical Engineering from an ABET-certified institution and FE License
Three (3) or more years of electrical engineering design experience
Construction support experience for Title 3 activities
Sole US citizenship required (to comply with government customer requirements and/or applicable government regulations)
Short Circuit Analysis experience
Some knowledge of the NEC
Experience working in groups of engineers and designers on projects
Experience of leading technical discussions with clients
Ability to author proposals and Statements of work is a plus
