Senior Software Development Engineer

Role Overview

• Designing, developing, and maintaining complex healthcare integrations
• Ensuring seamless data flow between the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other systems
• Building and maintaining software programs, reports, and interfaces for data exchange
• Working with healthcare interoperability standards like HL7 v2 / HL7 v3 XML / CCDA / X12/ FHIR
• Providing technical expertise, mentoring junior developers, and leading medium-sized projects

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Relative Experience
• Epic Bridges Certification
• Expertise in languages relevant to healthcare IT, such as JavaScript, Cache, C#, .NET, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of the Epic EHR platform, healthcare workflows, and interoperability standards.
• Familiarity with databases, Azure services, messaging queues, security, and networking.
• Demonstrated ability in leadership, problem-solving, communication, and mentorship.
