About this role
Role Overview
- Prepare technical specifications for power electronics and perform hardware planning, taking into account regional grid connection conditions and project requirements
- Design and develop specifications for power supply units based on international design codes and standards (IEC, NEC, ATEX, CE)
- Develop electrical system architectures, electrical system requirements, schematics, wiring-harness drawings, single-line diagrams and field cabling
- Contribute to cross-functional teams developing new MW-scale electrolyser modules
- Approve, review and produce design and engineering documentation
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical and hardware planning for process engineering in large-scale plants
- Thorough knowledge of current European and North American electrical standards and regulations
- Experience with electrical protection concepts
- Experience working with technical documentation and specifications
- Familiarity with hardware planning using CAD systems
- IT proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
