Own the administration and optimization of billing systems (Zuora, Stripe), including product catalogs, pricing, subscriptions, invoicing, payments, and revenue workflows
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across billing platforms, supporting reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting
Manage system configurations, environments (dev/QA/UAT/prod), and user access to support cross-functional teams (Finance, Ops, Customer Success)
Design and maintain integrations between billing systems, Salesforce, and internal tools, ensuring reliable and scalable data flows
Troubleshoot system and integration issues, monitor data syncs, and resolve discrepancies across platforms
Drive automation and process improvements using tools like Workato to streamline billing operations and the customer lifecycle
Partner with Engineering, Finance, and Operations to enhance systems, support data migrations, and implement scalable, compliant solutions
Requirements
2+ years of hands-on experience administering billing platforms such as Zuora, Stripe, or similar subscription billing systems
Strong understanding of subscription billing concepts including pricing models, invoicing, payments, and revenue recognition principles
Experience building and maintaining integrations between billing systems, Salesforce, and custom-built applications
Hands-on experience with middleware and automation tools such as Workato (or similar platforms like Zapier, Mulesoft, etc.)
Experience working with APIs, webhooks, and data integration patterns
Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, solution design, and deployment to end users
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both business and technical teams
Experience supporting financial operations processes such as billing cycles, reconciliations, and reporting
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance, or equivalent work experience
Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve workflows, enhance decision-making, or drive innovation.
