About this role

Own design, integrity, and operational reliability of data systems for financial reporting
Build and operate transparent data services that reconcile system differences
Establish patterns for SOC-aligned reporting
Implement automated data quality frameworks
Lead development of audit-ready datasets and reporting structures
Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and ensure outputs meet expectations
Provide hands-on technical leadership to a small team
Monitor and support critical reporting cycles

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in data engineering, engineering analytics, or a similar role.
Advanced proficiency in SQL, with demonstrated experience building and optimizing queries for large datasets.
Hands-on experience designing and maintaining data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data integrations.
Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt (or similar transformation frameworks).
Experience working with financial, billing, or operational data systems.
Demonstrated ability to own and deliver end-to-end data systems, including ambiguous or poorly defined problem spaces.
Proficiency in Python (or similar) for automation, pipeline development, or data processing.
