Role Overview
- Maintain responsibility for a set of projects developed by Celestica’s Global Design Services organization
- Provides direction for source selection and ensures proper process implementation
- Leads the Commodity Management teams to ensure negotiations meet business requirements and growth plans
- Leads the supply chain management process for customers from materials pricing and BOM analysis to delivery execution and flexibility performance
- Quotes and negotiates critical high dollar or strategic commodities or provides the direction to team of commodity managers
- Supports quarterly business reviews with customers, and with senior management at key/strategic suppliers
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Materials Management, Engineering or related field
- Expert knowledge of the marketplace conditions for a broad range of strategic commodities
- Excellent understanding of global business environment and Customers business, organization, products and processes
- Ability to lead complex negotiations effectively
- Expert knowledge of office systems and analytical tools
