About this role
Role Overview
- Review requirement specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback and to understand deliverables to be tested
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases; ensure test cases are maintained
- Perform thorough testing as assigned
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track defects
- Design, develop and execute low complexity automation scripts
- Adhere to Greenslate quality standards
- Attend Scrum ceremonies and other meetings as required
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve defects
- Provide accurate task estimates
- Identify risks while testing and raise them appropriately
- Identify areas where automation can be leveraged
- Stay current with new testing tools and test strategies
Requirements
- University degree in System Engineering or a related field and/or ISTQB Foundation certification
- Basic understanding of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Basic understanding of functional, regression, exploratory, UI and usability testing
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum frameworks
- Experience with Java, C#, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, NUnit, SpecFlow, Playwright, SQL or Jenkins is a plus
