About this role
Role Overview
- As a Full Charge Accountant, you will be responsible for multiple clients (25
- 30 monthly)
- Prepare year-end closeout, possess a strong work ethic
- Handle routine client questions
- Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations
- Utilize QuickBooks with ability to train clients
- Fixed Asset Tracking
- Prepare financial statements for CPA review
- Prepare journal entries for month and year-end close
- Prepare Payroll, Sales & Use Tax Returns, Property Tax Returns
- Assisting with ad-hoc projects & Tax Return preparations as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but candidates with strong equivalent experience will be considered
- 1+ yrs of full charge accounting experience in public accounting with a strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work with clients and coworkers
- Knowledge/experience with preparing quarterly tax estimates is a plus
- Experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operation
- Organizational skills, attention to detail and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Comfortable working on multiple open projects and clients at one time
- Intimate knowledge of Intuit platforms and fluent in Microsoft suite, proficient with QuickBooks (Online); experience with Practice CS is a plus
