Responsible for implementing and advancing cybersecurity engineering practices across Fluence software products, operational technology (OT) environments, and supporting infrastructure
Contribute to cybersecurity architecture and support implementation across product, OT, cloud, and network environments
Implement security requirements in product development and deployment processes, ensuring secure-by-design practices
Execute vulnerability management activities, including scanning, analysis, and remediation tracking for Fluence OS
Support risk assessments, threat modeling, and security reviews for product features and deployments
Assist in designing and implementing network segmentation, access control, and monitoring solutions for OT environments
Apply cybersecurity standards (IEC 62443, NIST, NERC CIP, etc.) into engineering practices and configurations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into product and infrastructure workflows
Support evaluation and deployment of security tools, automation, and monitoring solutions
Contribute to documentation, hardening guides, and security baselines
Requirements
8–12 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, preferably with exposure to product or OT/industrial environments
Experience implementing cybersecurity controls in network, cloud, or infrastructure environments
Familiarity with OT/ICS environments or industrial networking concepts
Strong understanding of vulnerability management, threat modeling, and security best practices
Hands-on experience with Linux systems and security tooling
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST, or CIS
Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations teams
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Proven experience designing and leading cybersecurity architecture or large-scale security initiatives
Strong expertise in network security, OT security, cloud security, and secure infrastructure design
Experience securing industrial control systems (ICS) or operational technology (OT) environments
Deep understanding of vulnerability management, threat modeling, and risk-based security practices
Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems and security tooling in complex production environments
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as IEC 62443, NIST, CIS, or NERC CIP
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives and influence engineering decisions
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and risks to engineering leaders and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across teams.
