Role Overview
- Analyze project costs and revenues
- Monitor the financial performance of engagements
- Produce profitability and margin analyses
- Develop financial forecasts
- Identify variances (budget vs. actual) and propose corrective actions
- Support the preparation of project budgets
- Participate in margin and cost optimization
- Produce financial dashboards and key performance indicators
- Collaborate with project managers to improve performance
- Contribute to the improvement of financial tracking tools
Requirements
- Hold a university degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Have a minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in financial analysis
- Have a good understanding of project or services environments
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and synthesis skills
- Be comfortable with data and numbers
- Be rigorous, autonomous, and analytical
- Have strong communication skills
- Be proficient in French, both spoken and written (English is an asset)
Required knowledge (assets)
- Experience in a services firm or consulting
- Knowledge of project profitability models
- Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling)
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Knowledge of ERP or financial systems
- Experience in performance analysis
