Role Overview
- Ensure quality and compliance of embedded firmware solutions
- Take end-to-end responsibility for software verification of complex medical devices
- Plan, execute, and document software tests throughout the development lifecycle
- Define, implement, and lead device-level automation test frameworks
- Manage defect reporting and resolution workflows
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for firmware verification defects
- Define and lead verification strategy for wireless communication and cybersecurity standards
- Provide technical guidance to agile teams and promote knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable field
- 6-8 years of experience in software testing with a Bachelor's
- 5-7 years of experience with a Master's
- 3-5 years of experience with a PhD
- Professional experience in a regulated environment (e.g., IEC 62304, ISO 13485)
- Expert knowledge and hands-on experience in firmware testing
- Experience with defect management in firmware/software development
- Expertise in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocols, functional safety, and cybersecurity
- Excellent business fluency in English
- Ability to work independently and solve complex technical challenges
