Install, configure, and troubleshoot IBM Security Directory Server (SDS) and IBM DB2 database tables and indexes according to application requirements
Set up multi-way replication of the IBM SDS application between multiple data centers in an active/active configuration with global load balancers to enhance platform resiliency and availability
Use scripting and tools like DMC, TOAD, TAPM, Splunk, and Nagios to monitor and troubleshoot issues related to performance and availability of the platform
Plan and execute database backup and recovery
Provide database tuning for performance and stability
Create logical models from business models by incorporating business rules
Upgrade SDS and DB2 databases
Maintain and upgrade replication agreements and certificates
Remediate vulnerabilities within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) identified by the audit team while maintaining strict access control
Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of products before moving applications to production
Requirements
Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or Cyber Security
5 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in a related occupation
Involvement with highly available cybersecurity platforms using IBM ISVA, IBM SDS (LDAP), Tomcat, DB2, and Oracle components
Installing, upgrading and administrating IBM Security Directory Server (SDS) and DB2 with active/active setup between multiple data centers using Resonate load balances and replication agreements
Setting up monitoring and alerting using DMC
Scripting necessary to ensure platform availability
Performing global load balancing and resonance
Implementing security policies and procedures along with identifying and remediating vulnerabilities within SLA times of both SDS and DB2
