Collaborates with clinical team, IT, vendors, and customers to ensure successful completion of projects.
Responsible for project work plan development and management, project plan reporting, issue tracking, scope development and management, project cost, resource and time management, project communications, and project risk management.
Proactively manages project to identify potential risks and/or issues and escalates appropriately.
Develops and maintains project scope/charter with assistance from management and communicates out all updates or changes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
Two (2) years of health care project management or related experience.
Two (2) years in healthcare credentialing, provider relations, or medical staff services experience.
Ability to work under stressful working conditions.
Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
Ability to work independently or cooperatively as a team member.
Ability to work within multi-disciplinary groups.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Access).
