Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Electric Reliability Organization Enterprise regulatory compliance trends
Evaluate registered entities’ adherence to NERC Reliability Standards (Operations and Planning) and CIP standards
Assist in identifying and developing improvements to compliance processes and procedures
Develop Reliability Standard Audit Worksheets and evaluate Bulk Electric System (BES) applicability
Ensure timely completion of compliance deliverables
Conduct in-depth reviews of business unit processes, procedures, and controls to assess effectiveness of reliability standards adherence
Independently carry out complex projects and assignments
Requirements
2 year degree from accredited institution that focuses on electrical theory and concepts.
Work experience may be used in lieu of education.
Proficiency in computer applications relevant for field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Developed planning and continuous improvement skills
Strong time management, prioritization, and organization skills
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
Background and understanding of the fundamentals of electricity.
Experience with distribution and transmission electric equipment.
General knowledge of NERC Operations, and Planning (693) Standards and Cyber Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Standards
Proven ability to ensure timely completion of all compliance deliverables
Ability to perform in-depth reviews of business unit processes, procedures, and related controls to determine the effectiveness of reliability standards adherence and compliance practices
Ability to carry out complex projects and assignments independently
