About this role
Role Overview
- Develop, maintain and evolve backend applications in Java
- Work on the design and support of microservices architectures
- Develop and consume REST APIs (JSON)
- Work with relational databases, including: SQL queries, views, stored procedures
- Participate in CI/CD processes and deployment automation
- Support containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes
- Monitor and optimize production applications using observability tools
- Operate in an agile environment with multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Ensure development best practices, documentation and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Java
- Experience with microservices
- Experience with REST APIs and JSON
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL, views, stored procedures)
- Experience with CI/CD tools: Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, UrbanCode
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Knowledge of containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools: Datadog, Dynatrace, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana
- Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
