About this role
Role Overview
Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, the HR Generalist is an internal resource on employment matters
Ensure adherence to legislation, company policies and other matters related to staffing and performance
Manage day-to-day HR operations including full-cycle recruiting, employee relations, investigations under guidance, total rewards programs, performance and talent management
Coordinate site training and development programs, maintaining HR records, supporting change management and employee communications
Coordinate engagement initiatives and support employee recognition efforts
Administer and ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA and company leave policies
Serve as an internal consultant to supervisors and employees on issues affecting performance and business relationships
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field required

4 years' of HR generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment required
Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred
Experience in both union and non-union work environments definite asset
Experience in labor relations and bilingual Spanish a bonus
