Role Overview
- Collaborate with program and factory customers to identify, develop, and define manufacturing automation and digital solutions
- Support early ‘New Product Introduction’ activities including Design for Manufacturing engagements
- Gain alignment between Industry 4.0 and factory/program strategic roadmaps
- Provide technical leadership through early project phases and continued technical guidance after transition to the project execution team
- Expected to Travel 25-50% of the time
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Project leadership experience (ex. Technical Project Lead, Project Manager, Integrated Product Team Lead, Product Design Lead, etc.)
- Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies including manufacturing automation and smart/digital factory technologies
- Experience with new product introduction, design for manufacturing, design for automation, and/or detailed specification of equipment for production
