Addictions Counselor, LSW/LPC – Addiction Recovery

Role Overview

• Provide outpatient mental health counseling and substance use treatment
• Perform mental health/substance use evaluations
• Develop treatment plans with specific goals
• Maintain patient records and confidentiality
• Communicate with referring providers about patient progress

Requirements

• Master's Degree in a related field
• Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Illinois
• 1+ years of experience providing therapy in a clinical setting
• Strong documentation skills
• Knowledge of current DSM diagnostic criteria
• Ability to develop appropriate intervention and treatment plans
