Provide on-site construction monitoring to ensure contractor activities are carried out in accordance with approved design drawings, technical specifications, and applicable standards.
Monitoring excavation works, engineered fill placement, and production of various fill materials.
Oversight of geosynthetics installation and quality control testing (geomembranes, GCLs, geotextiles, geonets, etc.) and monitoring installation of HDPE and corrugated piping systems.
Monitoring concrete placement and associated quality control activities.
Conducting QA/QC soil and concrete field and laboratory testing, including in-situ moisture and density testing using a nuclear gauge.
Assisting with the review, compilation, and maintenance of project record documentation.
Preparing accurate, clear, and timely daily and weekly construction summary reports.
Interacting constructively and professionally with contractors and project owners to resolve construction-related issues.

Bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering or Civil Engineering
1–5 years of relevant experience, preferably including SYDF (Su Yapıları Denetim Firması) experience.
Experience on mining projects, including tailings storage facilities (TSFs), heap leach facilities (HLFs), or other mine-related infrastructure, is an asset.
Familiarity with international standards and guidelines (e.g., ASTM, ISO, GISTM) related to earthworks, geosynthetics, and CQA is an asset.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong technical interpretation, writing, and reporting skills.
High level of attention to detail, particularly in construction monitoring, testing, and documentation.
Ability to adapt to changing site conditions.
Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Ability to take initiative and make sound decisions.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Minimum 2 years of driving experience with a valid Class B driving license.
SRC Certificate is an asset.
Willingness to travel and work on site.
Availability to work night shifts, when required.
