About this role
Role Overview
- Performing analysis on rate trends, developing insights into key financial drivers, and communicating findings to various stakeholders.
- Developing and implementing payer analytics and economics strategies around provider rates.
- Analyzing behavioral health, physical health, and pharmacy data and rates using a variety of data sources and programs including but not limited to Excel, SQL, Access, etc.
- Utilizing industry trends and Medicaid fee schedules and data concepts to drive decision-making.
- Preparing presentations and other collateral materials to support rate initiatives.
- Participating in rates process improvement projects.
- Providing technical training and support to team members.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics; OR Associate’s degree and four (4) years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics; OR Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics; OR Equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must reside within North Carolina.
- Must be able to travel within catchment as required.
- Preferred: Two (2) years or more experience in Managed Care industry.
