Performing analysis on rate trends, developing insights into key financial drivers, and communicating findings to various stakeholders.
Developing and implementing payer analytics and economics strategies around provider rates.
Analyzing behavioral health, physical health, and pharmacy data and rates using a variety of data sources and programs including but not limited to Excel, SQL, Access, etc.
Utilizing industry trends and Medicaid fee schedules and data concepts to drive decision-making.
Preparing presentations and other collateral materials to support rate initiatives.
Participating in rates process improvement projects.
Providing technical training and support to team members.
Requirements
High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics; OR Associate’s degree and four (4) years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics; OR Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics; OR Equivalent combination of education/experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Must reside within North Carolina.
Must be able to travel within catchment as required.
Preferred: Two (2) years or more experience in Managed Care industry.
