Provide revenue tracking support to the publishing functions in the Asia Pacific region.
Involve a variety of administrative tasks, including but not limited to, income tracking, dealings with the societies, overseas affiliates, and suspense research.
Administration of all areas of Warner/Chappell Music’s Catalogues across Warner Chappell Music APAC & Global.
Identify and make claims for shortfalls in income from various territories.
Liaise with counterparts across all affiliate offices, PRO/CMO, DSP and sub-publishers to ensure income flows are in line with expectations and resolve any interruptions or discrepancies.
Ensure affiliate income queries are resolved.
Provide the business with regular forecasts/updates by income providers (society/DSP/affiliate/third party).
Assist the Income Tracking Team on projects including ad hoc forecasts and income analysis.
Collaborate with the global Income Tracking teams to resolve and proactively prevent problems arising with the collection of income.
Work closely with the regional Royalty and Copyright teams to both resolve and proactively prevent problems arising with the collection of income.
Additional ad hoc responsibilities supporting administration purpose.
Requirements
Degree in Administration/Music/Finance/relevant majors with 3-4 years of relevant experience in income/revenue tracking or 2-3 years in Music Publishing or 3 years in Music Industry.
Skills to analyze, extract & manipulate data from high volume datafiles.
Able to read, write and speak English, Traditional & Simplified Chinese, Malay.
Other Asian language is a plus.
A forensic and detail-oriented approach to analysing data with a track record in delivering accurate results.
Have Excel/Google Sheet capabilities including Pivot Table & advanced formula.
A results-oriented professional who thrives in a client-facing capacity, confidently managing relationships and communicating with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally.
Ability to manage multiple projects at once and hit time-sensitive deadlines.
