Role Overview
- Perform monthly tax calculations, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
- Prepare, review and file statutory/ancillary tax obligations within legal deadlines.
- Perform accounting reconciliations to ensure integrity between records.
- Analyze variances, inconsistencies and tax risks, proposing adjustments and improvements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and technical clarifications.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company.
- Work on tax credit recovery, compensation/offsets and reviews.
- Contribute to process improvements, standardization and tax compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Ciências Contábeis).
- Course or working knowledge of Excel.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Active CRC registration (Brazilian Regional Accounting Council).
- Calculation of direct taxes (IRPJ and CSLL).
- Experience with statutory/ancillary filings (ECD and ECF).
- Knowledge of tax regimes (Lucro Real and Lucro Presumido).
- Postgraduate studies in related fields (in progress or completed).
- Intermediate language skills (English or Spanish).
- Experience in accounting.
- Knowledge of tax legislation.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS).
- Understanding of preparation of notes to the financial statements and financial statements.
