Collaborate with the Associate General Manager of Schools, Product Managers, content and video personnel, and creative stakeholders to translate curriculum goals into effective video concepts and formats.
Collaborate and contribute to the development of video scope, sequence, and structure in alignment with the curriculum and overall product vision.
Collaborate with content teams in script and outline development with writers and presenters, ensuring clarity, pedagogical effectiveness, and engagement.
Coordinate with marketing and design teams to ensure consistency across video, print, and promotional assets.
Drive day-to-day execution of curriculum video projects from concept through delivery, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external production partners.
Develop curriculum video budgets within the framework of the Product Financial Analysis.
Manage production logistics, including scheduling, crew coordination, location planning, travel, and equipment needs, ensuring that all production comes within budget.
Source, coordinate, and direct external talent, contractors, and production partners as needed.
Oversee shoot preparation, including shot lists, production schedules, and on-set needs.
Direct and support on-set execution, ensuring alignment with creative direction and product goals.
Coordinate post-production workflows, working with editors, animators, and designers to ensure that delivery of content deadlines are met and that post-production comes within budget. As needed, the Producer may have to perform some video editing.
Review video edits and provide feedback to ensure alignment with creative vision and instructional goals.
Direct and assist in the selection of music, graphics, and other assets that support the final product.
Ensure final deliverables are formatted and prepared for distribution across platforms.
Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and production workflows to ensure efficient delivery.
Track expenses, coordinate contracts, and support vendor negotiations.
Maintain organized documentation, schedules, and production resources across projects.
Identify opportunities to improve video production processes and workflows.
Serve as a key point of coordination between Management, Product Manager, Marketing, and Video personnel.
Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders.
Support and mentor junior team members or freelancers as needed.
Requirements
BA/BS in the Arts, Film Production, Digital Marketing, or related field.
2+ years minimum of professional video production experience; 3-5 years preferred.
Experience managing video projects from concept through delivery. Have a portfolio of work to demonstrate skills and abilities.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with Office software (Mac preferred).
Familiarity with Photoshop and Adobe programs such as Primer and Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and other appropriate video editing tools and production workflows.
Experience using social media platforms.
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Willingness to travel for on-location shoots and to Ascension’s headquarters in Exton, PA.
A deep understanding of the Catholic faith and teaching. An understanding of or interest in Catholic education and formation is strongly preferred.
