Integrated Circuit Designer – Layout

Role Overview

• Design and implement integrated circuit layouts with moderate complexity
• Resolve moderately complex layout problems requiring analysis
• Work with moderate guidance on defined objectives
• Handle short-term focused projects with clear deliverables
• May provide coaching to junior engineers
• Perform timing extraction and analysis with increasing independence
• Use EDA tools for layout and verification with growing proficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated competence in IC layout design principles and implementation
• Proficiency in IC layout, CMOS technology, timing analysis, and EDA tools
• Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes
• Understanding of how individual work impacts business objectives
• Professional communication abilities to coordinate with cross-functional teams
