About this role
Role Overview
- Provides data governance expertise, business leadership, and leads day to day data governance activities
- Partners closely with Technology and other SMEs to drive the successful implementation of the LOB's Data Strategy for low to medium complexity data environments
- Acts as a technical expert integrating cross-function understanding within their own field of specialty
- Identifies, measures and monitors current and emerging data related risks in day-to-day activities
- Ensures data-related activities are compliant with applicable laws and regulations
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or technical certificate
- 7+ years relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of data governance/data management practices
- Advanced knowledge of M&A due diligence process, LOB data strategy, data risk management, and data life cycle management
- Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
- Skill in mentoring/coaching others
- Skill in using computer applications including MS Office
