Role Overview
Provides data governance expertise, business leadership, and leads day to day data governance activities
Partners closely with Technology and other SMEs to drive the successful implementation of the LOB's Data Strategy for low to medium complexity data environments
Acts as a technical expert integrating cross-function understanding within their own field of specialty
Identifies, measures and monitors current and emerging data related risks in day-to-day activities
Ensures data-related activities are compliant with applicable laws and regulations
Requirements
Undergraduate degree or technical certificate
7+ years relevant experience
Advanced knowledge of data governance/data management practices
Advanced knowledge of M&A due diligence process, LOB data strategy, data risk management, and data life cycle management
Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
Skill in mentoring/coaching others
Skill in using computer applications including MS Office
