Participates in the implementation, enhancement, standardization, and operation of financial software Workday, Strata, and related software.
Understands and helps manage the functional aspects of financial systems and assists in developing standards for common use among all health system entities.
Provides user support and training for financial applications.
Works directly with IT staff to correct system deficiencies and operating issues.
Assists in developing and documenting requirements, configurations, and test plans for various scenarios.
Maintains data integrity and helps analyze production problems to ensure resolutions.
Assists in establishing quality control mechanisms for software functionality and consistent application of standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, healthcare, computer science, business, informatics, or related field.
Five (5) years of previous working experience in an accounting, finance or business office department.
Experience using or supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications.
Experience with business operations workflow in a healthcare environment such as, general ledger accounting, budgeting, accounts receivable, asset management, accounts payable, cash management, and capital projects.
Experience with financial statement preparation/analysis.
