About this role
Role Overview
- Automate full-stack infrastructure using Terraform and GitLab
- Lead the design of CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI to enable fast, secure, and reliable software delivery
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes workloads using Amazon EKS and Istio Service Mesh
- Implement monitoring and alerting to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with development and business goals
- Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, automation, security, and operational excellence
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance platform capabilities and developer experience
Requirements
- 6+ years in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles experience in a lead role
- Demonstrable AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) expertise
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, GitLab CI and Bash/Python
- Orchestration and monitoring tools – Istio, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK
- Proven experience building and operating cloud-native platforms
