Role Overview
- Provide accurate and timely financial information for decision-making
- Lead monthly/quarterly expense reporting and planning processes
- Coordinate the annual budget and support financial analysis
- Drive expense insights and identify savings opportunities
- Prepare views of expenses and manage quarterly results meetings
- Develop expense forecasts and participate in budget training
Requirements
- Accounting designation (CPA, CMA, CGA, CA)
- 5-7 years of accounting experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy and details
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain successful relationships with business partners
- Excellent PC skills (MS Excel, Hyperion, Tableau) including experience in building reports
- Knowledge of insurance services and products and related market segments (asset)
- Expense and planning experience (asset)
