About this role
Role Overview
- Provide electrical engineering expertise in an industrial environment, including development of technical specifications, power and control system design.
- Be a part of multiple multidisciplinary projects, supporting lead electrical engineers or leading the electrical works across a range of project sizes and markets.
- Work with clients and contractors to understand their existing installations and how best to integrate their new needs.
- Travel to client and project sites across NZ, building hands-on experience with industrial plant, machinery, and automation and control systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechatronics engineering (Washington Accord), or similar.
- Proven experience in a similar role with 5+ years' experience
- Solid technical knowledge of industrial Low Voltage power systems, instrumentation and control systems
- Familiarity with hazardous area and AS/NZS 60079 beneficial but not essential
- Willingness to travel to site
