Provide electrical engineering expertise in an industrial environment, including development of technical specifications, power and control system design.
Be a part of multiple multidisciplinary projects, supporting lead electrical engineers or leading the electrical works across a range of project sizes and markets.
Work with clients and contractors to understand their existing installations and how best to integrate their new needs.
Travel to client and project sites across NZ, building hands-on experience with industrial plant, machinery, and automation and control systems.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechatronics engineering (Washington Accord), or similar.
Proven experience in a similar role with 5+ years' experience
Solid technical knowledge of industrial Low Voltage power systems, instrumentation and control systems
Familiarity with hazardous area and AS/NZS 60079 beneficial but not essential
