About this role
Role Overview
- Oversee period‑end and year‑end close processes for private equity funds
- Review and approve quarterly and annual financial statements
- Ensure accurate accounting for capital calls and distributions
- Review transaction accounting for equity and debt instruments
- Act as primary point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
- Manage annual audit cycles and review audit deliverables
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of fund accountants
- Drive process standardisation, automation, and efficiency initiatives
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of:
- Private Equity fund accounting and NAV concepts
- Capital accounting and carried interest mechanics
- Proficiency in fund accounting systems and Excel
- Strong analytical, review, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple funds and deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
