Translate complex financial and statistical data into clear, actionable insights for leadership audiences.
Own end-to-end budgeting and forecasting processes for large, complex portfolios, including both operating and capital expenditures.
Lead monthly and quarterly variance analysis, identifying drivers, risks, and opportunities, and proactively recommending corrective actions.
Ensure forecast accuracy and financial integrity through rigorous analysis and continuous improvement of assumptions and methodologies.
Provide financial oversight for major development, technology, and capital programs from initial business case through ongoing reporting and performance tracking.
Lead preparation of investment proposals, funding requests, and approval materials for executive and governance forums.
Own quarterly and annual capital investment reporting, highlighting performance trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
Establish and maintain financial controls, standards, and governance processes for capital and expense management.
Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated financial models, forecasting tools, and analytical frameworks used in strategic decision-making.
Conduct ad hoc and custom financial analyses, peer group benchmarking, and internal consulting engagements across multiple levels of the organization.
Research, identify, and resolve complex data issues within financial reporting systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability of outputs.
Partner closely with technology, development, accounting, and FP&A teams to align financial strategy with operational execution.
Influence decision-making across cross-functional teams without direct authority through strong business acumen and financial insight.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to financial transparency, reporting effectiveness, and analytics capabilities.
Mentor and coach analysts and senior analysts, setting expectations for analytical rigor, modeling standards, and executive-level communication.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Typically six or more years of related experience
Working knowledge of financial analysis techniques and general accounting procedures
Well-developed mathematical and analytical skills
Thorough knowledge in financial analysis, forecasting, and planning
Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
Strong technical skills related to data mining and visualization tools
Master's degree preferred
