Preventive, consultative and contentious legal advice in all areas related to the corporate legal department — emphasis on labor law.
Representation and follow-up of the company’s defense in judicial and extrajudicial matters across all forums and procedural stages.
Drafting, preparing and filing procedural documents and various petitions (answers, statements, appeals, administrative defenses, etc.).
Conducting hearings.
Acting before regulatory and inspection public bodies and responding to notifications and fines.
Evaluation of documentary and oral evidence.
Advising company representatives and identifying witnesses.
Preparation of legal advisory opinions.
Review and preparation of documents such as commercial letters, notices, drafts and other instruments.
Drafting and reviewing service agreement templates in support of other departments.
Preparation of corporate acts for the company, as well as bookkeeping and registrations.
Preparation and maintenance of reports for accounting and external audit, as well as bulletins of indicators and results for management.
Requirements
Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
Good communication, organizational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of corporate law and the areas mentioned above.
Previous experience in labor hearings.
Postgraduate degree (Lato Sensu) or MBA in areas such as Corporate Law, Labor Law, Corporate Governance, Contracts, Tax Law or related fields.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with the ability to work with spreadsheets, charts and presentations.
Additional courses and training related to Corporate Legal matters, including areas such as Labor, Civil, Tax, Corporate, Contractual, Regulatory and Environmental law.
Experience with corporate systems, preferably SAP.
