Support the deployment, operation, and maintenance of distributed database systems in production environments
Manage and optimise MongoDB environments with a focus on availability, reliability, and scalability
Work with Kubernetes-based infrastructure to support database services and containerised workloads
Contribute to Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform and/or Ansible
Monitor database and infrastructure performance and support incident investigation and resolution
Automate operational tasks related to database environments and platform processes
Support upgrades, migrations, configuration management, and environment standardisation
Collaborate with DevOps, platform, and engineering teams to improve operational efficiency and resilience
Contribute to best practices around deployment processes, observability, and system reliability

Hands-on experience with MongoDB in production environments
Experience working with distributed systems or distributed database architectures
Strong experience in Linux environments
Experience with Kubernetes-based infrastructure
Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or Ansible
Good understanding of DevOps practices and cloud-native infrastructure concepts
Experience with automation, configuration management, and operational support
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in collaborative engineering and infrastructure teams
Fluency in English
