Define and own the overall monetization strategy across pillars such as programmatic ads, direct brand deals, and affiliate partnerships, adapted to different geographies
Balance short-term revenue performance with long-term user experience and sustainable monetization
Prioritize and manage trade-offs between monetization levers (shared inventory)
Maximize revenue while preserving user experience and core product KPIs
Serve as the single owner and main point of contact for stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Data, and Marketing
Contribute to the product and technical roadmap to support monetization initiatives
Lead end-to-end execution with Product, Engineering, Data, and Marketing teams
Define the roadmap and coordinate development and delivery
Monitor monetization performance and identify optimization opportunities
Improve overall monetization yield across channels and placements
Run A/B tests and iterate on formats, placements, and strategies
Manage relationships with ad networks (e.g., AdMob) and external partners
Ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and revenue reconciliation
Define strategy and build the Partnerships & Direct Deals playbook
Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships (Direct Deals, Affiliates)
Build and scale a pipeline of monetization opportunities
Ensure consistency between partnerships and the product experience
Assess and challenge the current monetization stack (e.g., AdMob) and define the most appropriate tools and setup for long-term scalability with Product and Tech teams
Define formats, placements, and monetization logic
Monitor performance, run tests, and continuously optimize
Requirements
5+ years of experience in growth, monetization, partnerships or similar roles
Strong partnership, business development, or affiliate management skills
Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive revenue-generating initiatives
Proven project management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives
Analytical mindset with experience in A/B testing and performance tracking
Experience collaborating with Product and Tech teams
Experience with mobile apps and programmatic advertising (e.g., AdMob)
