About this role

Develop formal models to represent complex technical variant and rule sets in variant configuration
Analyze technical products and system architectures and develop concepts for the structured representation of dependencies, constraints and interfaces
Design, define and maintain robust data and rule structures for variant configuration, taking heterogeneous IT system landscapes into account
Provide technical consulting to development and business units on requirements from order processing, manufacturing and logistics
Analyze order specifications, clarify technical requirements and actively coordinate between development, order processing, production and logistics

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Business Informatics or a comparable technical qualification
Solid experience in product analysis of configurable mechanical engineering products and in applying systematic analysis and documentation methods
Knowledge of SAP master data maintenance and ideally practical experience with SAP variant configuration (LO_VC)
Proficient with MS Office, particularly MS Access or other database-related applications
Good written and spoken English
