Financial planning, reporting, and monitoring, including management of regular accounts, variance analysis, and support for financial planning processes.
Finance business partnering, providing constructive challenge and support to budget holders, building strong relationships, and preparing management reports.
Supporting NCI projects and programmes by preparing financial models, developing Excel templates, and ensuring accurate project financials.
Grant financial monitoring and accounting, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and supporting decision-making and programme delivery.
Providing financial analysis and support for other Finance projects as needed, and assisting with organizational and operational changes.
Supporting and coordinating funding requests with relevant stakeholders, in line with NCI governance requirements.
Maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality presentation in all financial work.
Working collaboratively with the Finance team to develop best practice internal and external reporting.
Occasionally visiting the office in Gloucester, with primary office location in London, to support the Parish Giving Scheme.
Requirements
CCAB or equivalent professional accounting body qualification, with 2-3 years post-qualification experience in a FP&A role.
Experience in a management accounting/financial analysis role, preferably within the charity sector.
Strong skills in developing budgets and forecasts, and providing support and analysis to budget holders.
Advanced Excel skills and data manipulation abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality presentation.
Well-organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
Customer-focused with effective partnership skills to engage with key stakeholders.
Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage multiple projects.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
Proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic approach to work.
