Role Overview
- Prepare, coordinate, and own the preparation and review of quarter‑end SEC deliverables for the GMPD segment and OptiFreight business
- Prepare and provide audit support for key SOX controls
- Accurately prepare and review month‑end journal entries
- Review, enhance, and maintain key account reconciliations
- Support ad hoc requests and special projects from the business
- Effectively communicate complex accounting matters to multiple business partners
- Supervise, coach, and review the work of offshore accounting staff
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Assist with month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close coordination
Requirements
- 3+ years of public and/or corporate accounting experience, preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
