About this role

Administration and optimization of relational and NoSQL databases in cloud environments (AWS/GCP)
Ensuring high availability, performance, and security of database environments
Working with MySQL/Aurora, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, and Amazon RDS
Performing tuning, monitoring, backups, restores, and disaster recovery
Supporting data platforms (S3, Athena, Data Lake)
Incident troubleshooting and automation of operational routines
Applying SRE best practices to ensure stability and scalability

Solid experience in database administration
Hands-on experience with AWS/GCP
Experience with databases: MySQL/Aurora, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis
Experience with Amazon Athena
Strong SQL skills and query optimization
Experience with Linux (administration and troubleshooting)
Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field
Preferred: Experience with Data Lake or Lakehouse
Preferred: Knowledge of modern analytical architectures
Preferred: Experience in mission-critical environments (fintech, telecom, e-commerce)
Preferred: Experience with monitoring and observability
Preferred: Experience automating operational routines
Preferred: Knowledge of SRE or platform reliability
