Provide virtual comprehensive prenatal genetic counseling to a diverse patient population following established genetic counseling practice guidelines and procedures
Provide focused genetic counseling regarding carrier screening and cell-free DNA results
Ensure proper completion of counseling paperwork and documentation
Communicate and consult regularly with the clinical geneticist(s) and managers
Participate regularly in staff meetings with counselors in the region
Maintain appropriate client interaction and confidentiality
Engage in professional growth opportunities including writing abstracts and publications
Requirements
Masters degree in Human Genetics or Genetic Counseling
American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) certification or Active Candidate Status for ABGC
Ability to obtain multi-state licensure including NJ and PA
Highly organized, including excellent time management skills
Strong multi-tasking ability with excellent attention to detail
Strong computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office
