Role Overview
- Determine mainframe z/OS software upgrade requirements
- Coordinate and schedule major software upgrades
- Develop and maintain standards for Software Infrastructure
- Monitor CPU, Memory and DASD trends
- Manage multiple projects and prepare periodic status reports
- Collaborate with management and technical staff on related initiatives
Requirements
- 10+ years of z/OS Mainframe VTAM, SNA, APPN & HPR and TCP/IP experience
- Providing large-scale computing infrastructure technical and operational support in a highly technical environment
- Implementation, configuration and support of VTAM, SNA, APPN and HPR technologies
- Implementation, configuration and support of mainframe TCP/IP in a z/OS Parallel Sysplex environment
- Implementation, configuration and support of Connect: Direct
- Implementation, configuration and support of NetView Network Management
- Excellent communication skills
- MS/BS or equivalent work experience
