About this role
Role Overview
- Manage a caseload of pre-litigated cases focused on personal injury claims
- Conduct initial assessment on merits when the case exits the portal
- Obtain evidence in support of liability including from witnesses and pre-action disclosure
- Instruct non-medical experts where appropriate and assess value of claim
- Attend on clients, witnesses, experts, union clients, third parties, and defendants
Requirements
- Recent graduates with a keen interest in personal injury law
- Studying towards SQE or an equivalent qualification is a plus
- Knowledge of personal injury law and familiarity with Pre-Action Protocols, Civil Procedure Rules, and funding procedures is advantageous
- Understanding of case management systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite (e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook)
