Act as the technical point of reference for the company throughout the investigation-to-order (ITO) phase.
Provide technical expertise and develop technical solutions (configuration, performance estimation, economics, etc.) as part of the pre-ITO (requisition) process while collaborating with the sales team.
Deliver high technical quality in GE proposals, including processes and programs that make proposals more acceptable (compliant or clarified), efficient and cost-competitive for the customer, while reducing overall performance risk.
Responsible for the accuracy of technical proposals, including technical specifications and clarifications, assumptions/exclusions, quantification of design and deliverables, definition of installation scope of work, cost allocation, bill of materials, and estimation of engineering, installation and testing/commissioning based on customer specifications and/or industry standards.
Provide technical support to develop subcontractor packages and bid dossiers for electrical equipment.
Support the sales team in client presentations of technical capabilities and proposals.
Develop new engineering concepts and products based on market feedback.

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in design, studies, specifications, estimation and construction on substation, transmission or generation projects within the power generation, distribution or transmission industry.
Minimum 2 years of experience preparing and managing technical proposals.
Up to 20% travel (may include international travel) and must comply with all relevant corporate travel and tax policies.
