Role Overview
Document management—including but not limited to, review of documents for responsiveness, bates labeling, organization of documents and compiling information for discovery responses/pleadings/motions, depositions and trial preparation
Draft discovery requests and responses
Witness interviews
Draft Rule 26 disclosures
Create damage models for wage/hour cases
Electronic filing in state and federal courts
Facilitate document production (hard copy and electronic formats)
Management of litigation databases and support of electronic discovery processes
Review documents for privilege and compile privilege logs
Prepare, serve and follow up on subpoenas
Assist at trial, including tracking exhibits and coordination of courtroom equipment to present electronic evidence and exhibits
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate required
5+ years of labor and employment experience with a litigation/trial background
Candidate must be well organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Skilled communicator and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and computer/technical skills required
