Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for all indirect spend categories
Manage and mentor a team of sourcing professionals; set goals, provide coaching, and drive performance
Partner cross-functionally with business units to understand needs, align on sourcing initiatives, and ensure procurement adds value beyond cost savings
Conduct supplier market analysis, RFPs, negotiations, and contract development
Drive supplier consolidation and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize vendor performance and compliance
Monitor category performance against KPIs (cost savings, service level, risk, etc.) and report results to leadership
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and risk mitigation processes
Leverage procurement systems (e.g., ERP, e-sourcing tools) to streamline sourcing activities
Support annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting related to indirect spend
Develop category playbooks and sourcing frameworks for repeatable success
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPM/CPSM a plus)
5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement
Proven track record of managing large, complex sourcing initiatives across multiple indirect categories
Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Infor LN, IQMS, Microsoft Dynamics) and procurement tools
Analytical mindset with strong Excel and data visualization/reporting skills
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levels of the organization
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
