Role Overview
- Perform structural engineering assessments of damaged, corroded, or deformed lattice steel towers
- Review and analyze inspection reports and photographs
- Conduct structural modeling, load assessments, and failure analysis
- Develop engineering recommendations for repair, reinforcement, or replacement
- Assist field inspectors and construction crews by providing technical guidance
- Collaborate with civil, electrical, and transmission line engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
- 3–7 years of experience in structural analysis and design
- Working knowledge of lattice steel tower behavior
- Familiarity with standards and codes: CPUC GO-95, ASCE, AISC, IEEE, NESC
- Proficiency with structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD, SAP2000, RISA)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
