Clinical Research Nurse

Role Overview

• Explain studies and obtain participants' informed consent
• Provide medical follow-up for participants in accordance with research protocols
• Collect study data by conducting questionnaires, taking vital signs, performing blood draws, ECGs, etc.
• Explain and administer study medication and document adverse events
• Support the research coordinator in their tasks
• Recruit participants and perform data entry as needed

Requirements

• Excellent command of French and good written and spoken English
• Strong organizational skills, ability to manage priorities and work under pressure
• Commitment to excellence, meticulousness and attention to detail
• Comfortable working with multiple computer systems
• Excellent interpersonal and patient/customer service skills
• Diploma (CEGEP) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing and registered with the OIIQ (Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec)
• Experience in Cardiology and Pulmonology
• Clinical research experience is an asset
