About this role
Role Overview
Work on a Hybrid basis at one of our front-end manufacturing sites in either Manchester UK or Hamburg Germany
Ensure procurement processes, controls and supplier management activities operate effectively and efficiently
Support both local and global sourcing initiatives, driving cost optimisation and supplier performance
Identify, assess, and onboard suppliers to support operational and development needs
Support Global Sourcing Managers with negotiation and procurement of BOM materials
Manage supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery, technology, and service
Conduct market research and analyse spend categories to inform negotiation strategies
Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Production teams to deliver annual cost‑reduction and sourcing project targets
Support project management activities and ensure effective alignment between suppliers and internal teams
Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of efficient end‑to‑end procurement processes
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field
Minimum 3 years’ procurement experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment with direct materials
Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship‑building skills
Confident analysing and presenting numerical data, with strong problem‑solving ability
Effective communicator with excellent English skills and the ability to collaborate across countries and time zones
Skilled in SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools
Able to prioritise, adapt quickly, and work with urgency in a fast‑paced environment
Experience in process improvement, change management, and driving cross‑functional collaboration.

Base salary of circa £44,000–£53,000, (DOE)
