Act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to mortgage production, secondary market, and banking operations leaders to identify inefficiencies, automation opportunities, and technology gaps.
Lead current-state and future-state process analysis with a focus on loan originator productivity, customer experience, and operational scalability.
Develop comprehensive business requirements documents, functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and process maps to guide development and vendor integration efforts.
Own project delivery end-to-end for key technology initiatives—from requirements definition through go-live and post-release adoption.
Maintain deep working knowledge of Loan Origination Systems (LOS), particularly Encompass, as well as secondary market tools, CRM platforms, POS, core banking systems, and third-party integrations.
Promote enterprise data integrity, system standardization, and process consistency across departments.
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or equivalent role within mortgage banking, financial services, or a related industry.
Direct, hands-on experience with mortgage production workflows including loan origination, processing, underwriting, closing, and secondary market delivery.
Demonstrated experience leading technology projects from requirements through delivery in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Experience working with Loan Origination Systems—Encompass (ICE Mortgage Technology) experience strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience in mortgage operations, enterprise analysis, or technology project leadership will be considered. PMP, CBAP, CSM, or equivalent certification is a plus.
