Analyse large and complex datasets (including labour market and survey data) to uncover insights
Translate numbers into compelling stories through reports, proposals, presentations, and visuals
Contribute to research outputs such as working papers, funder reports, evaluations, and concept notes
Coordinate and support research studies, surveys, and grants from start to finish
Respond to data-driven questions from across the business
Collaborate cross-divisionally to shape strategy, partnerships, and innovation in youth employment
Help build Harambee’s growing body of knowledge on South Africa’s labour market
Requirements
A relevant Bachelor’s degree (e.g. Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or similar)
2–3 years’ experience in a data, research, or analytical role
A solid understanding of the South African labour market
Comfort working with large datasets using Excel, statistical tools, and/or code
The ability to present insights clearly — in writing, visuals, and presentations
A hands-on, curious, and collaborative approach to problem-solving
